The Summary
The story follows Jerrod Northi, a rogue and a pirate from the port of Pemath. Jerrod is in terrible danger after being attacked by deadly creatures called the leeris. Desperate to find safety, he decides his only option is to flee and hide out in a strange, ritualistic land known as Tarnis.
To blend in with the locals of Tarnis, Jerrod pays a massive price to mysterious creators known as the Craftsmen. They surgically alter his body to give him the "Seven Signs" of a Tarnis citizen. These signs include long fingers, long ears, green eyes, and a smooth, hairless body.
