The album covers a wide variety of music, from the dark and rumbling "This Land Is Mine: Exodus" to the ethereal beauty of "Eli Eli." Although many of these songs are available in several versions already, the renditions found on this album stand out not only because of their power but because of how seriously the musicians take the material. It is this view of the music as epic and grand that separates this from many Jewish music collections (many of which performs these in a folk style).
