The book follows a secret, highly clever underground organization known as "Counterpol". This group functions as a criminal version of Interpol. Instead of catching lawbreakers, Counterpol uses its international network, massive resources, and elite skills to help international criminals pull off heists, evade law enforcement, and escape across borders safely. In the story, the group gets tangled up in complex webs of betrayal and dangerous operations as they shield their clients from world police forces.
