People vs. Withers & Malone is a 1963 collection of six screwball mystery novelettes. The stories team up two legendary sleuths from classic literature: the angular, sharp-witted schoolteacher Hildegarde Withers and the hard-drinking, womanizing Chicago attorney John J. Malone.
